I adjusted the cable a little and it’s helped out a bit but will have to take it off road properly to really see what it needs ... still unregistered, it’s a slow process lol

It’s great on the road lol but yea it’s a pain in the ass off road and that’s not even in low range so I can just imagine the bunny hopping once it’s in low range with the 6:5 gears

My point was fitting a clockspring is a lot of work just to avoid having to reach for the stereo in the dashboard. It’s hardly a chore. No, no guarantee the splines will match at all- case in point- ford used a pretty universal spline for many years but the FG falcon uses a square drive. The stereo buttons will be fed via a clockspring which will sit behind the wheel, between the wheel and the column. There’s no provision for that ...
